I'm just a girl who has been interested in digital design since I tried making some letterhead and business cards back in late 1994. I love paper. All colors and types. Mostly I love designing my own. I have stacks upon stacks of scrapbook papers, only I don't scrapbook.
That little-letterhead project led me to a very satisfying career designing web sites, fonts, and producing templates of all sorts which were available online and via CD until around 2002.
I took a break for awhile but no career/job/hobby has been nearly as satisfying since, so I am back and although what I'm producing is a bit different, I am enjoying the images and download sheets I'm working on. I love making collage art and can only use so much of it myself, but thankfully, I get to share them with you.
I have recently updated my font software to run on Win 7 (fontographer and fontlab) so I have been busy playing with that. Re-honing skills. Updating old fonts. Making new fonts...
What Inspires Me?
Blank journals, notebooks & papers. Colorful pens, pencils, markers & SHARPIES! I'm known to draw a design or two on my arms with sharpies (they do wash off) when I need a break. Words & word art. Colors. I dream. I dream A LOT. I dream in color.
Why Am I Doing This?
It gives me great pleasure when I create something that not only I am happy with and proud of but also when someone else finds my work enjoyable enough to want it for themselves.
Having my time to sit with my pug at my feet (he's gotten too heavy to share my chair), snoring and producing something that either I or someone else can use and love... well, it's just nice. Very nice. :)
